Windows 8.1 - How to disable the sharing of the public folder

Learn how to disable the sharing of the Public folder in Windows 8.1.
  • Open the Control Panel and go to Network and Sharing Center.
  • Click on Change advanced sharing settings.





  • Click on All Networks.
  • Select Turn off Public folder sharing (people logged on to this computer....)
  • Click on Save changes.
